Statutory Estate Planning Fees (NSW)

The fees for preparing a Last Will and Testament, Enduring Power of Attorney (financial matters), and Enduring Guardian (health and lifestyle matters) are regulated under NSW legislation. For non-complex matters, we apply the statutory fee framework set out under the NSW Trustee and Guardian Act 2009 and the NSW Trustee and Guardian Regulation 2017.

For further reference, statutory fees are published by the NSW Trustee & Guardian.

Service Fee (AUD)
Basic Will $462
Complex Will From $583*
Enduring Power of Attorney $231
Enduring Guardian $231

Complex Wills are charged from $583 and may increase depending on the complexity of your estate and the time required.

Complex Estate Planning Matters

Where your circumstances involve business interests, corporate structures, self-managed superannuation funds, trusts, blended families, asset protection strategies, or vulnerable beneficiaries, additional legal advice and structuring may be required.

In these matters, fees are charged on an hourly basis.

Hourly Rates:

  • Timothy Horne – $650 per hour plus GST

  • Jamieson Doyle-Taylor – $600 per hour plus GST

  • Junior Lawyers – $300 per hour plus GST

We will always discuss the anticipated scope of work and provide cost transparency before commencing.

Additional Costs

Consistent with the NSW Trustee & Guardian framework, additional costs or disbursements may apply where required to deliver our services.
